Soul Francisco by Light Of Darkness. 1971

Descrição

Light Of Darkness (Edit) Description: Early 70's Scottish (with the exception of their German drummer) band based in Germany. The line-up was: John Latimer (vocals, piano, organ, percussion), Byron Grant (guitars, fiddle), Mike Reoch (bass, flute, piano, harmonica) and Manfred Bebert (drums, percussion). Their sole LP was originally released in Germany in 1971 on the Philips label. Those original pressings can now fetch upwards of $300 US and more depending on condition. Their music had many teutonic influences, though largely they were a hybrid of Status Quo and Canned Heat, with an unusual psychedelic bent. The vocalist sort of reminds me of Captain Beefheart.
